Soggy start to Saturday
SATURDAY: Rain will be sticking with us throughout the day with heavy rain banding in the early morning that will slow down to light to moderate towards lunchtime. We will dry out before dinner time. Highs will be well below average sticking in the mid to upper 30's.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy but dry. Lows in the lower 30's.
SUNDAY: Staying mostly cloudy but dry with a high in the mid 40's.
EXTENDED: As we head into the workweek we will be cloudy and slightly warmer than we were this weekend but still below average for this time of year. For Monday and Tuesday, our rain chances are low but still not zero. On Tuesday night we could see a cold front move through bringing in cooler temperatures for Wednesday but also better rain chances and even the chances for some thunderstorms. An even more active day will most likely be Thursday with chances already looking pretty high for some thunderstorms and rain. It is too early to pinpoint exactly when and where these thunderstorms will be, but what we do know is that all of the 'ingredients' for a thunderstorm are looking to be in place for Thursday. Thursday will have another low-pressure system move through continuing our chances for rain and thunderstorms on Friday.
