COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou baseball team lost its third-straight SEC series, on Saturday, as No. 25 Texas A&M clinched the three-game set with a 14-6 victory at Taylor Stadium.

The pitching woes continued for head coach Kerrick Jackson's team, as the Tigers have given up a total of 25 runs over the course of the last two losses to the Aggies. On Saturday, seven of A&M's 14 total runs came in the third inning, alone.

Mizzou was in striking distance headed into that third frame, trailing by just one run. However, Texas A&M managed to blow the game wide open with an RBI double, a pair of bases loaded walks, a sacrifice fly and a three-run homer. The Aggies only poured onto that eight-run deficit even more over the course of the next six innings, as it was a hole MU could never dig itself out of.

Starter Brady Kehlenbrink was handed the loss on the hill. The left-handed pitcher threw for 3.0 innings and allowed nine earned runs on six hits. He now moves to 3-3 in 2026.

The Tigers did have their opportunities at the plate, though. Camdenton alum Kam Durnin led his team going 3-for-4 with a team-best three RBI, in Saturday's loss. However, for the most part, Mizzou wasn't able to capitalize with runners in scoring position, going just 4-for-15 in those situations.

Up next - Mizzou will look salvage the series and avoid getting swept in Sunday's finale. First pitch in the final game against Texas A&M is set for 1 p.m.
