Tracking great weather to get outdoors before cooler temperatures arrive

TODAY: I'm tracking summer-like temperatures this afternoon with sunshine and westerly winds at 10-15 mph. This will help temperatures get into the mid to upper 80s.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking a clear and mild evening as temperatures gradually drop back into the low 50s. Winds are expected to shift into the southeast at 5-10 mph by the end of the night.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking another summer-like day Saturday as temperatures quickly warm back up into the mid to upper 80s by the afternoon hours. Clouds will be increasing throughout the overnight hours ahead of a cold front that is set to move through Sunday. This will lead to temperatures starting in the low 60s during the morning hours, only warming into the mid-70s by the afternoon. Slightly more cloud cover and very breezy northerly winds will be expected during the passage of this front on Sunday, blowing at 15-20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. This means that cooler weather will return for Monday and Tuesday, starting in the upper 30s, then warming into the 50s and 60s by the afternoon hours. Warmer weather is set to make another return by Wednesday and Thursday, but after another cold front and potential precipitation on Thursday, another cooldown will arrive for the weekend.
