Tracking spring-worthy weather the rest of the forecast

TODAY: Skies are mostly sunny on Thursday, with southwest winds around 5-10 mph. Highs are forecast in the mid-70s.

TONIGHT: Temperatures remain warm through sunset, in the 70s. We'll hang on to 60s through the evening, just dropping into the 50s around midnight. Lows fall to near 50° by Friday morning.

EXTENDED: The weekend is warmer yet, as highs reach near 80° Friday and Saturday. Sunshine will be prevalent both days, and on Sunday as well despite a cold front moving through the region to wrap up the weekend. A dry cold front will drop highs into the 70s on Sunday, and into the 50s on Monday. Then, another warm up is forecast to take highs back into the 60s and 70s by midweek. The forecast remains dry for now.
