End to a Breezy Weekend: Start to a Mostly Mild Week
SUNDAY: Starting the day mostly sunny but will see increasing cloud cover throughout the day. The high temperature is 57 degrees.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Cloud cover continues to increase overnight with a low of 41 degrees.
EXTENDED: Heading into the work wee we will be mostly cloudy but staying in the mid 50's. A weak cold front will move through the area Monday night dropping our temperatures just slightly but keeping us dry. We will rebound greeted by lots of sunshine for Tuesday with highs in the lower 50's. Warming back up on Wednesday to the mid 50's but we have a slight chance of seeing some rain during the day. Those chances increase later in the evening as we see a second cold front approach. This cold front will be the stronger of the two and will bring with it higher chances of precipitation mainly along and south of I-70 and a big drop in temperatures. Since the precipitation is likely to happen in the night time, there is chances that we could see some wintery precipitation along I-70 from this system. Chances of seeing some flurries and snowflakes stick around through Thursday afternoon since high's for Thursday stay in the mid 30's. We dry out as we close out the work week and temperatures slowly crawl back to the upper 40's by then end of next weekend.
