Tracking a big cool down and more rain by late tomorrow night

TONIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy with gusty winds. Lows in the mid-30s.

FRIDAY: Chilly and partly cloudy with highs near 50. Breezy with a chilly north wind.

EXTENDED: Another strong storm system to our southwest will push moisture in our direction by Friday night into Saturday. Temperatures will be near or just above freezing on Saturday morning, allowing for a mix of rain and snow for areas primarily north of Highway 24. Areas near Highway 36 could get a dusting to half inch of snow before precipitation changes over to a cold rain. Highs on Saturday will be in the upper 30s to around 40. Sunday looks dry, but temperatures will still be chilly, only reaching the upper 40s. Next week looks particularly unsettled with rain chances through most of the week. Temperatures gradually warm back into the mid-upper 50s. There could be a chance of stronger storms by late next week depending on how the previous days unfold.
