Tracking a few more days of chilly but sunny weather
TODAY: I'm tracking a sunny day ahead as temperatures start in the upper teens, warming into the low 30s by the afternoon hours. Breezy northerly winds at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph will lead to temperatures feeling like they are in the single digits for the morning, then feeling like the teens by the afternoon.
TONIGHT: I'm tracking clear sky conditions lasting throughout the overnight hours as temperatures drop back down into the low teens. Northerly winds at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph will lead to wind chills near 0 degrees overnight into Monday morning.
EXTENDED: I'm tracking sunshine lasting throughout Monday afternoon as temperatures warm into the low 30s and winds blow out of the northwest at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. Clouds will gradually enter the area Monday night as winds briefly calm down and shift into the south before picking back up out of the south by Tuesday morning. This will lead to temperatures quickly warming into the upper 50s by Tuesday afternoon, even with mostly cloudy conditions expected during this period of time. Cloudy but mild weather will continue through Wednesday as temperatures warm into the low 60s by the afternoon hours. Wednesday evening into Thursday, scattered showers are expected to enter the area, quickly exiting throughout Thursday morning. The rest of the week into the weekend is expected to stay dry as temperatures start in the 30s, warming into the 50s and 60s Thursday-Saturday.
