Columbia Police: suspect in custody after downtown robbery

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia Police Department tells ABC 17 News a suspect is in custody after an armed robbery in the zero block of North 5th Street on Saturday morning, according to CPD spokesperson Colin Imhoff.

Imhoff told ABC 17 News that officers responded to the scene around 11 a.m. Saturday. Imhoff could not immediately provide more details about the suspect.

According to a CPD press release, no one was hurt in the incident.

ABC 17 News is working to learn more information.
