Tracking a few cool days before we jump back into warmth this weekend
TODAY: Wednesday is another seasonably cool day, not far removed from sensible conditions on Tuesday. Highs are forecast in the low to mid-30s under mostly sunny skies.
TONIGHT: Clouds increase tonight, and north winds continue. Temperatures fall to near 20° by sunrise, as winds shift from the south.
EXTENDED: This means Thursday will start cold, but our warmup speeds up by noon, as south winds push highs into the mid-40s by the afternoon. Friday's forecast is warmer, placing highs in the 50s. A cold front drops lows back to the 20s Saturday morning, and highs to the 40s during the afternoon. However, it's becoming clearer that our warmup will be more pronounced Sunday into next week, with highs returning to the 50s as early as Sunday afternoon and near 60° (if not warmer) by Tuesday. This could coincide with rain chances by Tuesday, but the magnitude and timing of the warm-up and rain chance are largely uncertain.
