Lake Ozark man seriously hurt after crash in Camden County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 33-year-old Lake Ozark man is seriously hurt after a crash in Camden County just before midnight Sunday, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The report states the man was driving a 2016 Toyota 4Runner on Carol Road, west of Ginger Road, at 11:46 p.m. Sunday, when he failed to make a turn and went off the right side of the road, side-swiping a utility pole and hitting a tree.

The man was taken to Lake Regional Hospital by Lake Ozark Fire with serious injuries. The report states the man was not wearing a seatbelt.

The 4Runner has extensive damage from the crash.
