Mizzou football adds two transfers to the defensive line

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Head coach Eli Drinkwitz picked up a pair of d-lineman from Florida.
Jaden Jones announced his decision to join the Tigers on Saturday after spending the past three season in Tallahassee at Florida State. The edge rusher picked up seven total tackles and one pass deflection in just seven career games with the Seminoles.
247Sports ranks him as a three star prospect, and a top 50 edge rusher. Out of Junior College, he was the sixth ranked defensive lineman, and a top 35 player nationally.
The second addition of the weekend to Mizzou's defense was Donta Simpson out of Miami. The 6-foot-3, 300 pounder played in just three games in his first season with the Hurricanes, netting four tackles in that span. He's ranked as the No. 20 d-lineman in the portal by 247Sports.
