Tracking a cooler Sunday before a much warmer Christmas week

TODAY: I'm tracking a mix of clouds and sun as temperatures warm into the mid-40s by the afternoon hours. Winds will be out of the north at 5-8 mph throughout most of the day.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking clouds clearing throughout the evening hours as temperatures drop into the mid-30s by the end of the night. Winds will begin to shift into the southeast at 5-8 mph.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking a dry but cloudy start to the week as temperatures begin to warm back up. By Monday, mid-50s can be expected, but even warmer weather arrives by Tuesday and Wednesday, as low 60s and low 70s are in the forecast. By Christmas Day, temperatures will continue to stay in the low 70s before a weekend cooldown arrives.
