Tracking a chilly Friday with more ups and downs over the weekend
TODAY: Friday is chilly to start, with morning temperatures as cold as 15-25°. Light winds from the north this morning will shift from the south by the afternoon. Between south winds and sunshine, we expect highs to climb near 40°.
TONIGHT: Temperatures are warmer overnight, with lows near freezing Saturday morning. Winds remain southerly, and clouds increase, helping us remain warm.
EXTENDED: This increase in clouds will come ahead of a cold front midday Saturday. Temperatures reach near 50 before northerly winds cool us. More sun is expected in the afternoon, with clearing skies overnight into Sunday. Sunday will feel a lot like Friday, but we remain dry through this cooldown. Overall warmth is forecast next week, with upper level ridging favoring temperatures in the 50s Monday and 60s Tuesday through Christmas Day on Thursday. Some may even reach 70s Christmas eve and Christmas Day. The holiday forecast currently looks dry, and will likely remain that way.
