SEC to limit locker room access for media at conference tournament

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (KMIZ)

The SEC will not allow media members into the post-game locker room at the upcoming conference tournament. Select players and coaches will still available in the traditional podium setting following each game.

This comes in response to COVID-19, which has led to several major decisions from different conferences. For example, the Ivy League canceled its conference tournament. The MAC and Big West limited access to its conference tournament games as well.

Mizzou basketball coach Cuonzo Martin said he's not too consumed by COVID-19, but he's going to follow whatever the SEC decides. You can hear more from Coach Martin in the video player above.

Mizzou will open up tournament play against Texas A&M on Thursday at 6 p.m.
