Blair Oaks bashes St. Pius in historic state championship

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KMIZ)

Blair Oaks is adding another state championship trophy to a crowded display case.

The Falcons (14-0) completed an undefeated season with a 59-0 win over St. Pius X (9-6), winning back-to-back state titles for the first time in program history. Saturday's 59-point differential represented the largest margin of victory in a state championship game in MSHSAA history.

Blair Oaks has collected seven state titles since the 2004 season, which is tied for ninth-most in Missouri history.
