Tracking a frigid Sunday and more snow to start the week

TODAY: I'm tracking temperatures starting in the low-20s walking out the door, only warming into the mid-20s by the afternoon hours. It will feel like the low to mid-teens throughout much of the day due to a lack of sunshine by the afternoon hours and northerly winds blowing at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking temperatures starting in the mid-teens Monday morning, once again warming into the mid-20s by the afternoon. This is where our next best chance of snow is, picking up near Marshall, Brunswick, and Macon during the morning hours. Areas like Columbia and Jefferson City can expect this snow by the early afternoon hours. The highest snow totals will be north of Brunswick and near Macon, with 2-4+" possible. Along I-70, in areas like Columbia and Jefferson City, 1-2" is more likely. Near the Lake of the Ozarks and the I-44 corridor, trace amounts to 1" will be the most likely outcome. This snow is all expected to exit by late Monday evening.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking a cool start to Tuesday, but slightly warmer weather arriving by the afternoon hours as sunshine makes a return. Temperatures will be in the low-30s on Tuesday, and then warm into the mid-30s by Wednesday afternoon as some cloud cover makes a return. Mostly dry conditions are expected until Thursday night through Friday, as another chance of flurries and showers is on the way.
