Tracking more sunshine today, rain returning tomorrow

TODAY: Partly cloudy to mostly sunny, with highs in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees.

TOMORROW: Scattered rain throughout the day, becoming more widespread in the late afternoon and early overnight. Afternoon highs remain in the 50s. A quarter to a half inch of rain is possible across the area.

EXTENDED: Rain exits Monday night, but clouds linger on Tuesday, and temperatures climb to around 60 degrees one more time. Once a cold front passes early on Wednesday, much cooler weather is expected for the rest of the week, with highs in the 40s and overnight lows in the upper 20s by Thanksgiving Day. Mid-Missouri will be dry for the holiday, and rain chances return next weekend.
