Stover man charged with more child sex crimes

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Stover man who was already accused of several counts of statutory rape has been charged with more child sex crimes.
Colby Hader, 28, was charged on Monday in Morgan County with three counts of statutory sodomy, two counts of first-degree statutory rape, one count of promoting a sexual performance by a child, misdemeanor furnishing pornographic material to a minor and misdemeanor first-degree sexual misconduct. An arraignment was scheduled for Tuesday.
He was charged last year in another case in Morgan County with five counts of second-degree statutory rape. A pretrial conference in that case is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24 and the jury trial is expected to begin 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2. He is being held at the Morgan County Jail without bond.
The probable cause statement in his more recent case says a young victim told investigators during an interview in October that they were sexually abused by Hader since they were 11, and the assaults stopped because he was thrown in jail while awaiting court dates in his other case, the statement says.
Assaults allegedly occurred at Hader’s residence and in public, court documents say.
