Tracking another record-warm day
TODAY: Partly cloudy and warm with highs in the upper 70s. Columbia's record high for the day is 78 degrees, set back in 1950. Winds will gradually shift out of the northwest at 10-14 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph during the day, calming down in the evening.
TOMORROW: Sunnier but cooler, starting the day in the 40s and highs struggling to reach 60 degrees.
EXTENDED: More seasonable weather is expected next week as highs remain in the 50s and 60s. Rain chances return on Monday, with a few rumbles of thunder possible during the day. Tuesday will briefly dry out before more rounds of rain later in the week. The highest rain totals will fall across southern Missouri, where over an inch of rain is possible by the end of next week.
