Stover man seriously hurt after motorcycle strikes deer

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 68-year-old Stover man was seriously hurt after he hit a deer while riding his motorcycle in Morgan County late Wednesday morning, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The report states the man was riding a 2004 Harley-Davidson Dyna Superglide on MO 135 near Pine Tree Road when he hit a deer just before 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The man was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries. The report states the man was wearing a helmet. The motorcycle had minor damage.
