Tracking a slight cool down Wednesday
TONIGHT: Mostly clear with a few high clouds and breezy with lows in the lower 50s.
TOMORROW: Another front moves through, allowing temperatures to cool a bit during the day. Highs in the mid-60s.
EXTENDED: Winds begin to shift back to the north overnight into Wednesday as another dry cold front moves in from the north. This will allow temperatures to drop gradually during the day, with afternoon readings in the mid-60s. As winds die down on Wednesday night, it gets chilly with lows back into the upper 30s to around 40. We'll bounce back on Thursday with winds shifting back to the south and highs in the upper 60s to around 70. Clouds roll back into Mid-Missouri Thursday night ahead of another front that may bring a few light showers into early Friday morning, especially near I-44. We'll gradually clear with temperatures reaching the mid-upper 60s. Expect a cloudier Saturday as a disturbance slides by to our north, but temperatures will still make the low to mid-60s. A cold front arrives Saturday night, bringing a chance for a few showers up toward Highway 36, and a colder Sunday morning with lows in the upper 30s. Highs only reach the upper 40s on Sunday, with evening lows dropping down into the upper 20s by Monday morning.
