Tracking mild and dry conditions this week, ahead of a cooldown to start next week

TODAY: Tuesday is a breezy one, with south winds and mostly sunny skies driving high temperatures into the low 70s this afternoon. Winds are sustained around 10-15 mph, gusting to 20-25 mph.

TONIGHT: Skies see a few clouds overnight, but we'll stay dry. Temperatures are warm, in the upper 40s and low 50s still at sunrise.

EXTENDED: Wednesday will start warm, but end up slightly cooler than Tuesday. Another weak cold front brings a slight wind shift by midday, enough to keep highs in the upper 60s. Thursday is Partly cloudy with a high of upper 60s, before another cold front passes overnight, bringing a slim chance for showers into Friday morning. Little rain is expected. A stronger cold front, still devoid of moisture, returns Saturday. This keeps precipitation chances around 10% on Saturday, but likely brings a whopper of a temperature change! We expect highs in the 60s on Saturday, with lows in the 30s by Sunday morning. Continued north winds and cool air keep highs in the 40s likely Sunday and Monday. Our first hard freeze, looks possible Monday morning, with forecast lows near 28°.
