Tracking showers overnight, rain ending tomorrow

TONIGHT: Showers fill in overnight and continue through sunrise tomorrow. Temperatures fall into the upper 40s and low 50s.

TOMORROW: Rain will last through late Wednesday morning, but most will be dry after noon. Showers could linger near I-44 later in the day. Rain totals are expected to reach between half an inch and an inch across the area. Temperatures remain in the mid-50s during the day, then drop to the upper 30s overnight as clouds clear.

EXTENDED: Sunshine will return Thursday and dominate the rest of the forecast. Despite clearer skies, it will stay cool. Highs will remain in the 50s through the weekend, with frosty nights in the mid-30s. Halloween night might see temperatures dip into the 40s for trick-or-treating.
