Tracking heat to end the week before weekend storms

TODAY: I'm tracking temperatures warming into the low 80s by the afternoon hours as clouds gradually move out of the area. Winds will be out of the south at 5-10 mph through the rest of the evening as temperatures drop into the low 60s by the end of the night.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking temperatures warming into the low 80s by the afternoon hours with the help of sunshine and winds out of the southwest at 10-12 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking another warm afternoon Friday before showers and storms pick up overnight. These showers and storms are set to continue throughout Saturday afternoon before exiting the region by the evening. This will lead to much cooler weather entering the area as temperatures by Sunday afternoon only get into the mid 60s. Next week, temperatures are set to start in the mid 40s to low 50s in the morning, only warming into the mid 70s Monday-Tuesday.
