Tracking a drier end to Friday, nice weekend ahead

TODAY: Mostly cloudy and cool in the upper 60s. Rain will come to an end in the early afternoon, well before Friday night football games kick off.

TONIGHT: Clouds begin to clear out overnight as low temperatures fall to the low 50s.

EXTENDED: Tailgating on Saturday morning will be cool in the 50s and 60s, and sunshine will warm temperatures into the 70s during the game. The weekend ends on a warm note with highs climbing back into the low 80s on Sunday. We continue flirting with the 80s next week, while a series of cold fronts throughout the week will attempt to keep temperatures more seasonal.
