Tracking summer-like heat over the weekend
THIS MORNING: Clear and cool in the 60s in the early morning. Sunny skies will quickly warm temperatures to the low 80s by noon.
TODAY: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80s.
EXTENDED: Sunshine and warm temperatures are expected all weekend long, with highs in the upper 80s. These temperatures are very warm for early October, above average by over 10 degrees at times. A sluggish cold front will sit to our northwest early next week, keeping rain just out of reach through Monday. Rain chances increase on Tuesday and Wednesday, with some spots receiving up to a quarter of an inch. While it won't be a washout, we'll get a long-awaited cooldown with highs in the low to mid 70s by Wednesday.
