Tracking a hot and stagnant pattern this week

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with patchy river valley fog in some spots overnight. Lows in the lower 60s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs in the upper 80s.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking a quiet pattern for the week ahead with upper high pressure building across the region. Highs will be more than 10 degrees above average on Tuesday, with some high thin clouds working in between Tuesday night and Wednesday. That blanket of clouds could keep us a touch warmer on Wednesday morning and a degree or two cooler on Wednesday afternoon. We'll see more sunshine through the end of the week with a hot weekend ahead. A front could briefly cool us down early next week back into the 70s, but no major cool down or rain chance is in sight for at least the next week and a half.
