Mizzou rises one spot in latest AP Top-25

Mizzou Football continues to climb the ladder in the Associated Press (AP) Top-25 rankings.

The Tigers (5-0) leaped up one spot to No. 19 in the newest AP Poll, marking the third straight week that the team has gained ground in the rankings since cracking the top-25 in Week 3. MU's elevated status was preceded by a dominant 42-6 victory over Massachusetts on Saturday night, which the Tigers tallied 521 yards of total offense and limited the Minutemen to just 124 yards over four quarters.

MU is one of 10 different SEC programs represented in the latest poll, all of which are considered top-20 teams.

No. 19 Mizzou will have an extra week to prepare for No. 10 Alabama, who is scheduled to visit Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 11 a.m.
