Two men seriously hurt in Morgan County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two Versailles men were seriously hurt after a crash in Morgan County just after 3 p.m. Monday, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The report states that an 18-year-old man was driving a 1990 Dodge W-Series truck with a 19-year-old male passenger heading north on Camellia Road near Proctor Road when the truck went off the right side of the road while going downhill and approaching a curve in the road. The truck slid sideways and flipped.

The 18-year-old was taken to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance for treatment, while the 19-year-old was flown to University Hospital for treatment.

The report states the men were not wearing seatbelts. The truck was totaled.
