(CNN) — Jimmy Kimmel will return to host his late-night talk show on Tuesday, less than a week after being yanked from ABC’s airwaves.

ABC shocked Hollywood and the nation last Wednesday by suspending the show and its famous host after comments Kimmel made in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination. The saga is the latest in a spat between late-night show comedians and the Trump administration.
