Tracking mild to cool weekend with a slim chance at a few showers
TODAY: Friday starts sunny with patchy fog as we start cool and calm, in the low 60s. Some clouds will be present, leaving us with partly cloudy skies this afternoon. Temperatures should reach low-to-mid 80s by the afternoon. Humidity remains low and winds light from the northeast.
TONIGHT: Tonight, skies are clear, conditions are calm, and temperatures fall again into the 60s. Some clouds moving in may keep folks in the northwest warmer, and without fog. In the southeast, under clearer conditions early Saturday, fog may be possible.
EXTENDED: This happens ahead of a cold front that will bring clouds and low chances for showers and sprinkles from morning hours in the northwest, to the afternoon in the southeast. This will keep folks under cloudy skies for most of the day, but we'll clear up for most by sunset. Highs on Saturday will be mild again, but cooler air returns on Sunday, when the cold front has folks in the 70s most of the afternoon despite sunny skies. Highs may just reach 80 on Sunday, but that is not likely Monday through Thursday for most as highs settle in the middle 70s for most early next week. This will be with dry skies each day, but Thursday brings chances for showers back to the forecast.
