Brett Norfleet is being eyed as a potential winner of the 2025 John Mackey Award.

On Friday, the St. Louis native earned a spot on the Mackey Award watch list, an honor that recognizes the most outstanding tight end in college football.

Penn State's Tyler Warren, who was the No. 14 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, won the award last season.

Norfleet, who is a former SEC All-Freshman Team selection, is striving to build on a promising first two years at the collegiate level. The Francis Howell alum has registered 44 catches for 432 yards and five touchdowns in 23 career games (15 starts). He also set new career-highs in receptions and receiving yards last season.

The recipient of this year's Mackey Award will be announced at the College Football Awards Show on Friday, Dec. 12.
