Tracking exiting heat before showers and storms lead to a cooldown

TONIGHT: Overnight lows cool to the mid-70s with insulated pop-up storm or two possible. Most of the region remains dry with mostly clear skies.

TOMORROW: Wednesday welcomes increasing cloud cover with highs into the lower 90s. By the late afternoon/ evening hours, showers and storms will begin to develop ahead of an incoming cold front. The main threats with these showers and storms will be heavy downpours and gusty winds.

EXTENDED: Showers and storms will last throughout the overnight hours into Thursday morning before exiting east into the afternoon hours. Temperatures will cool considerably as winds switch out of the north. highs into the rest of the week will remain into the upper 80s lasting into Saturday. The rest of the week/ weekend remains dry.
