Tracking gusty winds and more sunshine Thursday

TONIGHT: Decreasing clouds, chilly. Lows in the upper 30s.

THURSDAY: Breezy and brighter. Winds gusting up to 30mph from the northwest. Highs reaching near 60.

EXTENDED: Canadian high pressure begins to settle in on Thursday into Friday, bringing high temperatures down about 10 degrees on Friday afternoon. We'll still have ample sunshine but it's a chilly night to close the work week as lows fall into the low 30s. Over the weekend, we rebound nicely back into the 60s. Our next storm system will bring rain to the area after midnight on Sunday into Monday. A few rumbles of thunder are possible but no severe weather is expected. Rain amounts will generally stay under 1". Rain comes to an end on Tuesday, and temperatures cool back down to the low 50s through mid-week with another potential system impacting us on Wednesday.
