Tracking a dry Monday ahead of more low but daily rain chances

TODAY: Monday will be mostly sunny after a foggy start for some. Temperatures reach mid-80s amid a light variable (but mostly easterly) breeze.

TONIGHT: Skies stay mostly clear, with a few high clouds overnight. Temperatures hang near 70 at sunrise.

EXTENDED: Another warm and mostly dry day is expected Tuesday, but a spot shower or storm cannot be ruled out, especially in the south. Highs reach upper 80s. Heat and humidity will be tolerable Monday and Tuesday, feeling like low 90s. Heat indices return to the low 100s Wednesday, along with a better chance for isolated to scattered afternoon storms. Thursday, brings better chances for scattered storms. This alone will help us feel a bit cooler, but may leave us a bit wet. Highs are likely in the 80s. This will come along a weak cold front that will keep elevated rain chances on Friday as well. It's unclear how this boundary will impact the weekend, as confidence in it's placement is low. Still, it could impact Saturday and Sunday with rain chances. Forecast chances are low for now, as uncertainty remains.
