Storms diminish tonight, tracking lower humidity Wednesday

TONIGHT: Storms diminish around sunset, mostly cloudy. Morning clearing could allow for some patchy fog to develop. Lows in the upper 60s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and hot with highs in the upper 80s.

EXTENDED: Tomorrow will be warm, but less humid as highs reach the upper 80s. Winds shift back to the south on Thursday, pushing temperatures to near 90 with a heat index in the mid-90s. Areas along and north of Highway 24 may start the day with some weakening storms as an overnight complex loses steam to the north. Friday will be hot and humid with highs near 90 and a heat index near 100 before storms move in toward late afternoon or evening. Severe risks look low due to a lack of wind shear, but we'll be cooler behind a cold front that will push through on Saturday. Rain chances are low for the rest of the weekend, with temperatures topping out in the lower to mid-80s on Saturday and Sunday.
