WEATHER ALERT DAY: All clear, severe threat over

Our severe threat has ended. Locally heavy rain, and hail was the dominant impact of Sunday's storms. At one point near Aurora Springs in Miller County, hail was reportedly covering the ground shortly after 8 p.m.

SETUP

FUTURETRACK

The cold front is now centered over I-44, with storms behind the front being more elevated in nature. This limits any tornado threat, but the potential for small hail and heavy downpours continues through the next few hours.

It is essential to have multiple avenues to receive weather information this weekend. Download the ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather App for alerts in your vicinity. A NOAA weather radio is also a good investment to have in the event of power loss or internet access issues.
