Power restored to hundreds in Montgomery City

MONTGOMERY CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Hundreds of Ameren customers lost power in Montgomery City on Monday night.

According to Ameren's outage map, the outage started around 6:30 p.m. and affected 1,631 customers.

As of 7:15 p.m., the website said Ameren was still assessing the cause of the outage.

The map showed power was restored around 8:30 p.m.

ABC 17 News has contacted Ameren for more information about what caused the outage.
