Columbia intersection back open after crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police and firefighters responded to a crash in Columbia on Friday night.

According to a notification from Boone County Joint Communications, the wreck happened around 7 p.m. at Stadium Boulevard and Providence Road.

Members of the Columbia Fire Department and Columbia Police Department were at the scene.

An officer said two people suffered minor injuries in the crash. The crash involved two vehicles and happened after one of them ran a stoplight, according to the officer.

The intersection reopened around 7:18 p.m.
