In and out of the clouds, chilly this week

THIS AFTERNOON: Northerly winds will continue to keep us cool this afternoon. Sunshine will help it feel warmer. Highs expected to top out in the lows 40s.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies will lead to a cooler night with a slight breeze. Lows fall back to the low 20s.

EXTENDED: We'll start out Wednesday with sunshine, but high and mid-level clouds will fill in throughout the afternoon and evening. Overcast skies are expected Wednesday night into Thursday morning, but we're still expecting to stay dry, thanks to high pressure. Sunshine returns Friday with warming conditions through Saturday. Clouds build back in Saturday night as rainfall is expected to move into the region. Sunday looks to be a gloomier, cooler day across the area, much like yesterday was.
