QUESTION OF THE DAY: Do you think flags should be at full-staff for Trump’s inauguration?
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Gov. Mike Kehoe on Wednesday ordered all American and Missouri flags at state buildings to be flown at full-staff on Inauguration Day.
Flags have been at half-staff around the country since Dec. 30 in honor of former President Jimmy Carter, who died on Dec. 29. Flags are typically flown for 30 days following the death of a former president.
A number of Republican governors have announced flags would be at full-staff for Monday’s inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) also ordered flags at the U.S. Capitol to be at full-staff on Monday.
Do you think flags should be at full-staff for Trump’s inauguration? Or should they remain at half-staff? Let us know in the poll and in the comments.
