Moberly SWAT executes search warrant, woman arrested for unlawful possession of gun

MOBERLY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Moberly woman was arrested Thursday for illegally having a gun, according to a press release from the Moberly Police Department.

The release states around 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 9, Moberly SWAT and the Randolph County Sheriff's Department's tactical team executed a search warrant in the 700 Block of Monroe Avenue.

A 50-year-old woman from Moberly was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm as a result of the search warrant, the release says.

The woman later posted bond, according to the release.

A probable cause statement was sent to the Randolph County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review, the release states.
