Tracking shower chances to start the week
MONDAY: Rain chances are returning to mid-Missouri. Scattered showers will dot the morning through the evening hours so keep the umbrella handy today. Highs make it into the low to mid 50's.
TONIGHT: Those scattered showers will come to an end from west to east by midnight as a cold front moves through. The cold air's a bit delayed with this system, so overnight lows will still be in the low 30's.
EXTENDED: Quiet weather is actually the story for once behind this front. It will be chilly, with highs back in the 30s on Tuesday as we battle cloud cover. Sunshine looks to be a little easier to come by toward the second half of the week. Highs will be in the low to middle 30's Wednesday and Thursday with overnight lows in the teens before we get back into the 40's Friday, with a run at 50 to kick off the weekend.
