Tracking more showers today, dry time this weekend

THIS MORNING: Scattered rain early with a brief break by late morning. Temperatures hold steady in the upper 40s.

TODAY: More rain redevelops by the afternoon as temperatures reach the 50s. Showers last through sundown.

EXTENDED: Fog is possible on Saturday morning with drier conditions expected for much of the daytime. Rain returns briefly Saturday evening through early Sunday but should exit in time for peeks at sunshine to wrap up the weekend. One more round of rain in the forecast on Monday and Tuesday brings a cooldown to ring in the new year.
