Tracking dry travel weather Monday, rain by Christmas Eve

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds with lows in the upper 30s.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy with spotty showers and gusty winds. Highs near 50.

EXTENDED: Tomorrow looks very manageable for holiday travel around  the area as warm southwest winds kick clouds into the region along with warmer temperatures near 50. A few sprinkles are possible, but we likely won't see rain making it to the ground until Tuesday morning as a front works its way in. Showers are expected through Christmas Eve with cooler temperatures in the mid-40s, but rain looks to exit east early on Christmas Day, leaving us with cloudy skies and highs in the upper 40s. We'll be tracking another system that brings rain on Thursday, along with gusty south winds and spring like temperatures in the mid-upper 50s through Saturday. A few showers are possible on Saturday, but the end of the weekend is looking dry.
