SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Jeremiyah Love spent two weeks off battling a knee injury and an illness. So when he ran onto the Notre Dame Stadium turf Friday night, he was playing at less than full strength. And yet, Love still dazzled. His record-tying 98-yard TD run on Notre Dame’s third play of the game set the tone for the seventh-seeded Fighting Irish, who overwhelmed 10th-seeded Indiana 27-17. But with another 12-day break between that win and the Jan. 1 Sugar Bowl against second-seeded Georgia, Love has a chance to get back to optimal speed.
