Centralia attorney appointed Boone County family court judge

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Gov. Mike Parson has appointed a Centralia lawyer to take the seat of an outgoing Boone County family law judge.

Jayne A. Pearman will take over the associate circuit judgeship currently held by Stephanie Morrell, who was elected circuit judge last month. Pearman runs her own law firm specializing in mediation and family law and has a law degree from the Missouri School of Law.

The appointment will take effect when Morrell is sworn into her new post.
