Tracking a soggy Saturday, some sunshine tomorrow

TODAY: Widespread showers last through noon with a few isolated rumbles of thunder. Rain becomes lighter in the afternoon and evening with totals reaching over an inch in many spots. Temperatures reach the 40s despite the rain and clouds.

TOMORROW: Sunday dries out with some peeks at sunshine through the afternoon. Temperatures remain cool in the 40s.

EXTENDED: Another shot of rainfall is expected Monday morning but will not be as widespread and rain exits quickly. A few storms will be possible again, mostly in southern Missouri. Temperatures remain milder close to the 50s Monday and Tuesday before a cooldown and more rain chances later in the week.
