Tracking overnight rain and warmer weather this weekend
TONIGHT: I'm tracking rain moving in from the west throughout the evening, with brief showers in Columbia becoming possible by 8-10 pm. Rain will become more consistent throughout the early morning hours as it moves north, with a slight chance to see freezing rain near Macon county. If this does occur, impacts will not last long as warmer air takes over throughout the morning hours tomorrow. Temperatures will cool into the mid 30s by the end of the night.
TOMORROW: I'm tracking widespread rainfall lasting throughout the afternoon hours with temperatures warming into the upper 40s. As rain exits Missouri, totals up to 1" of rainfall is expected for much of the area.
EXTENDED: I'm tracking warmer weather lasting throughout the start of the week, as temperatures each afternoon will warm into the upper 40s and low 50s through Tuesday. Another shot at rainfall (50%) is expected Monday with lower chances of seeing more rain (10-20%) Wednesday through Thursday. Along with this, temperatures will be cooling back down into the upper 30s to end the week.
