Northbound lane of Route B closed in Boone County after crash

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

One lane of Route B north of Columbia was closed on Tuesday evening following a two-vehicle crash.

First responders were at the scene near the intersection of Route B and East McGee Road before 7 p.m. An ABC 17 News photographer saw two Boone County Fire Protection District vehicles and an ambulance were at the crash. The northbound lane was closed as first responders worked the scene.

One person was brought to an area hospital with minor injuries, according to a Boone County firefighter at the scene.

The front of one of the vehicles appeared to have collided with the back of another.

A tow truck arrived at the scene at 7:44 p.m.
